Self-Care with Chado: Tea Hair Masks
Last year we shared with you a few creative ways you can use tea rinses for hair care, well we’re back again with a fun and different way to use tea in your hair care routine! People all across the world use beauty masks as part of their skin care routine, but did you know that you can use masks for your hair? Today we have a Green tea and Matcha hair mask that are simple to make and to incorporate into your self care routine.
Green Tea and Honey Hair Mask
This mask is beneficial for dry or dull hair.
Ingredients:

1 ounce Jasmine Green Tea
-
1 ounce Honey
-
2 teaspoons Olive Oil
-
Juice from 1 Lemon
Directions:

Steep 1 Jasmine Green Pyramid Tea Bag and allow to cool.

In a mixing bowl, combine the tea, honey, lemon juice, and olive oil.

Apply the mixture to clean, damp hair.

Allow to sit on the hair for 30 minutes.Â

Rinse your hair thoroughly with cool to warm water.

Allow your hair to air dry.
Matcha Hair Mask
This mask helps to strengthen as well as bring back the shine to your hair.Â
Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Chado x Sinensis Ceremonial Matcha

1 tablespoon Green Clay
-
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
-
1 egg yolk
-
3 tablespoons Jasmine Infused water
Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine together the green clay and Matcha.

Once combined, add in the egg yolk and mix.

Add in the sesame oil and combine.

Add in the Jasmine infused water and mix.

Apply the mixture to clean, damp hair.

Allow the mixture to sit on the hair for 20 minutes.

Rinse your hair with lukewarm water.

Allow your hair to air dry.
