Behind the Bar with Chado: Jameson Irish Breakfast Tea Hot Toddy

 

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a cozy twist! Join Siobhán as she crafts a delicious Hot Toddy using Chado’s Irish Breakfast Tea. This warm, soothing drink is perfect for toasting the holiday. Cheers!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces Jameson Irish Whiskey

  • 1 teaspoon Irish Breakfast Tea

  • 4 ounces hot water

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Steep your Irish Breakfast tea in the Jameson Whiskey for 30 minutes, then strain.
  2. Add the tea infused Jameson, honey, lemon slice and fresh lemon juice to a glass.
  3. Pour hot water over the top, stir.
  4. Serve and enjoy! Or as the Irish would say, Sláinte (slawn-CHA) meaning “Health!” their equivalent to our American “cheers!”.
