Galentine's Day Tea Cocktails
While Valentine’s Day is a holiday centered around romantic love with one’s partner, it can also be for showing love to your family and friends. Galentine’s Day, which takes place on February 13th, is a day that celebrates the love of friendship. This celebration was first mentioned in an episode of the tv show Parks and Recreation by Amy Poehler’s character Leslie Knope in an episode named, “Galentine’s Day”. In the episode Leslie invites her best “gal pals” as she calls them, over for a brunch full of waffles and love. While waffles are always a good idea, today we have something even better, Galentine’s Day themed tea cocktails! Below we have curated some of the best tea cocktail recipes to enjoy with your very own Gal Pals.
Ginger and Jasmine Tea Cocktail
Ingredients:

.75 cup simple syrup
-
8 slices fresh ginger
-
6 oz room temperature Jasmine Tea
-
3 oz vodka
-
1.5 oz fresh lemon juice
-
A splash of sparkling rosé
Directions:
-
Muddle the ginger and simple syrup together.
-
Add the tea, lemon juice, and vodka.
-
Strain over a glass and add a generous splash of sparkling rosé on top.

Garnish with a lemon twist.
White Champagne Raspberry Fizz
Ingredients:

3 sachets white Champagne Raspberry Tea
-
1/2 cup hot water
-
1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
-
sparkling wine
Directions:

Place 3 tea sachets in hot water. Let steep for 5 minutes then remove and discard tea sachets.

Chill tea until very cold.

Add two tablespoons of tea to two champagne flutes.

Add 1 teaspoon pomegranate juice to each flute.
-
Top with sparkling wine and pomegranate seeds.
Reena’s Rose Oolong Margarita
Ingredients:

4 oz of your favorite margarita mix, can be made from scratch or store bought

1.5 oz Silver Tequila infused with Reena’s Rose Oolong

1 oz Triple Sec
Directions:

Infuse your tequila with Reena's Rose Oolong. Steep the tea till desired strength is reached, 2 - 5 minutes depending.

Rim your glass with lime juice and salt.

Place ice in the glass.

Combine the homemade or store bought Margarita Mix, tea infused tequila, and triple sec with ice. Shake well.

Serve and garnish with a strawberry.
Hawaiian Champagne Cocktail
Hibiscus Tea Simple Syrup Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
-
1 cup water
-
4 tablespoons Hawaiian Cocktail Tea
Cocktail Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Hawaiian Cocktail Simple Syrup
-
4 oz chilled champagne or sparkling wine
-
Raspberries or lemon twist, if desired
Directions to make simple syrup:

Mix sugar and water in a 1-quart saucepan.

Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat.

Add tea; steep 5 minutes.
-
Remove from heat and strain out the tea; set aside 1 hour to cool.
Transfer to a storage container. Cover container, and refrigerate up to 1 week.
Directions to make cocktail:

Add 2 tablespoons of simple syrup to a champagne flute.
-
Top with champagne.

Garnish with raspberries or lemon twist.
