Behind The Bar With Chado: Santa’s Milk and Cookies Christmas Cocktail
It’s Christmas Cocktail season! Bianca and Siobhán are back behind the bar and have the perfect Christmas themed cocktail to share for the holiday season. Taking inspiration from the Christmas tradition of leaving milk and cookies out for Santa, Siobhán has created a drink that lives up to the tradition. Though there is one unique ingredient, chocolate milk! Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it though, this cocktail is the ideal Holiday dessert cocktail. Santa wishes he could have more than one, but he’s responsible since he has to drive his magic sleight full of presents! Santa’s Milk and Cookies Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces strongly brewed sweetened black tea
- 1 ½ ounces chocolate milk
- 1 ounce vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce chocolate liquor
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Crushed Oreos
- Christmas Sprinkles
Directions:
- Strongly steep the black tea of your choosing, we recommend using an assam as the malty flavor in an assam pairs nicely with this recipe.
- Allow tea to cool in the refrigerator.
- On a plate crush up a couple of Oreos.
- Take a martini glass and rim it with marshmallow fluff. Roll the rim of the glass in crushed Oreos and Christmas sprinkles. Place the glass in the freezer until ready to serve.
- Once the tea is cooled add ice to a cocktail shaker and measure out 2 ounces of tea.
- Next add in the 1 ½ ounces of chocolate milk, 1 ounce of vanilla vodka, and 1 ounce of chocolate liquor.
- Remove martini glass from the freezer and serve. Enjoy!
